Read full postCuspAI, a British AI lab, launched the AI Materials Foundry coalition with over 45 partners including Nvidia, Meta, and Samsung to accelerate discovery of new materials using AI. It raised $450m in Series B funding led by Kleiner Perkins and NEA, valuing the company at $2.6bn. Their platform MIRA aims to compress years-long materials discovery cycles into months by simulating and validating candidate materials.
