Vivodyne, a biotech startup, has developed HIVE, robotic labs that grow human tissues to generate causal biological data missing in AI drug discovery, aiming to improve AI's ability to develop effective human drugs. Current AI models often rely on animal or single-cell data, which limits their effectiveness in curing diseases like cancer. Vivodyne's approach addresses the data gap that causes many drugs successful in animals to fail in human trials.
