Alibaba launched Qwen3.8-27B, a 27-billion-parameter AI model that runs on personal computers and matches the performance of much larger cloud-based models like OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Luna. The open-source model supports text, image, and video prompts and has been downloaded over a million times shortly after release.
