AWS Backs Agentic Resource Discovery as Federation Layer for Agent Registry

Amazon Web Services supports the Agentic Resource Discovery (ARD) open standard to enable interoperability among AI agent registries across clouds and platforms. AWS Agent Registry, in preview via Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, offers a centralized catalog within AWS but ARD aims to unify discovery across diverse environments. ARD standardizes resource description and discovery protocols while preserving individual registry governance and access controls.
