Even Realities, a Shenzhen-based startup, raised $150M at a $1B valuation to produce camera-free smart glasses focused on privacy and discreet information display. Its glasses, controlled by a companion ring, avoid recording to address privacy concerns prevalent in camera-equipped models like Meta's. Despite Chinese capital, Even targets Western markets, growing rapidly with over 10,000 units sold and a user base mainly in the US.
