Psibot, a Chinese startup founded in 2024, is developing AI world models to help robots and self-driving cars understand the physical world. It is nearing a $1.48bn valuation after raising nearly $100m, backed by major industrial investors. The company aims to collect one million hours of data this year to advance embodied AI, anticipating a breakthrough similar to GPT-2 in two years.
