China's National Vulnerability Database warned that Anthropic's AI coding tool Claude Code contains a security backdoor that could leak sensitive user data to Anthropic's servers without consent. The NVDB urged immediate checks and removal or updating of affected versions, while Alibaba banned Claude Code use internally due to these concerns. Anthropic has not yet responded to the allegations.
