Cloudflare has implemented an AI-driven system that actively enforces engineering standards throughout its software development lifecycle. Since early 2026, its AI code reviewer flagged nearly 230,000 deviations, withholding approval for about 16,000. This system integrates standards into development workflows, applying AI to technical designs, code, and incident reports, creating a feedback loop to refine engineering practices.
