Disney's latest TikTok deal shows it's betting on real creators instead of AI-generated videos

Disney has partnered with TikTok to allow select creators to use Disney's intellectual property to create vertical videos that will appear on Disney+ under a new Verts tab. This initiative marks a shift from AI-generated content to creator-made videos featuring franchises like Star Wars, Pixar, and Marvel. The program aims to leverage TikTok's large creator base to enrich Disney+ with fan-driven storytelling.
