Neurosurgeons in London used an AI system trained on surgical videos to assist in removing a pituitary gland tumor, helping to identify critical brain structures and avoid damage. The AI analyzed live footage during the operation, guiding surgeons to safely extract the tumor and preserve the patient's eyesight.
