Echoverse: Deep, evolving environments for computer-use agents

Microsoft developed Echoverse, a set of twelve high-fidelity training environments for computer-use agents, enabling a 9B parameter model to nearly double its performance and approach GPT-5.4's capabilities. The environments focus on complex UI elements and evolve alongside the models to enhance learning, with reinforcement learning further improving agent efficiency. Four of these environments, along with code and data, have been publicly released to support further research.
