Elon Musk says SpaceX will build its own gas turbine parts to meet surging AI power demand

Elon Musk announced that SpaceX will manufacture its own gas turbine blades and vanes to accelerate the deployment of natural gas turbines needed to supplement solar power for AI data centers. This move aims to address the growing electricity demand driven by AI infrastructure expansion. SpaceX is also rapidly building solar panel factories but acknowledges natural gas will remain essential for several years.
