China launched the 2026 World Robot Conference in Beijing, showcasing about 3,000 robotic products including humanoid robots, robot dogs, and industrial helpers. Unitree debuted on Shanghai's stock market amid U.S. import bans on Chinese humanoid and quadruped robots. Despite advances, many humanoid robots remain more suited for entertainment than practical tasks.
