General Motors will introduce its own AI assistant later this year that integrates deeply with vehicle systems like OnStar and telemetry for predictive maintenance and diagnostics, complementing Google's Gemini assistant. This proprietary assistant accesses GM-specific vehicle data that Gemini cannot, providing tailored commands and insights. Both AI systems will operate together in GM vehicles, with Gemini handling general queries and the new assistant managing vehicle-specific functions.
