Google built a great smart speaker, but Gemini isn’t ready for it

Google launched the Google Home Speaker, its first new smart speaker in six years designed for its Gemini AI platform. While the speaker offers good sound and design, Gemini's AI features are slow, unreliable, and some require paid access. The device also supports smart home controls and pairs with Google TV, but overall the AI integration feels unfinished.
