IBM and NASA release an open-source lunar foundation model

IBM and NASA have jointly released the NASA-IBM Lunar Foundation Model, an AI trained on decades of lunar data, along with a unified, machine-learning-ready lunar dataset on Hugging Face. This model integrates data from multiple missions to improve lunar ice detection and supports scalable analysis of lunar features, aiming to overcome challenges of disparate data formats and resolutions.
