Kawasaki Heavy Industries signed a multi-year agreement with EdgeCortix, a fabless semiconductor startup, to integrate its AI chips into Japanese aerial defense systems. EdgeCortix, backed by US, Japanese, and Indian defense programs, will collaborate on technology development and prototypes through 2028.
