Linux Foundation Submits OpenMDW AI License to Open Source Initiative

The Linux Foundation has submitted its OpenMDW-1.1 license to the Open Source Initiative for review, aiming to establish a permissive open-source license tailored for AI models, including weights, data, and code. OpenMDW allows commercial use and derivative models without requiring publication of modifications, addressing challenges faced by previous AI open-source licenses.
