Milan’s Domyn raises over $1bn Europe’s largest AI round, mostly in debt

Domyn, a Milan-based AI company, raised over $1 billion primarily through debt to build Colosseum, a supercomputer with 115 exaflops capacity, targeting trillion-parameter AI models. The company aims to enable regulated industries to own AI models rather than rent access, with plans to invest $10 billion over three years and reach €1 billion in revenue.
