Nvidia signs up Japan’s robotics establishment for its open world models

Nvidia has enlisted 22 major Japanese robotics companies, including FANUC and Yaskawa, into its Cosmos Coalition to develop open world models for industrial AI applications. The initiative centers on the Cosmos 3 Edge model, designed for rapid adaptation to various robotics platforms and deployment on Nvidia's Jetson hardware. Fujitsu leads a collaborative control platform project with key partners to integrate digital twins and robot learning across industries.
