Researcher Lee Jia Jie used AI to discover and develop an exploit for a Linux kernel race condition vulnerability (CVE-2026-53264) affecting CentOS Stream 9, enabling local privilege escalation. The flaw is a use-after-free race in the network traffic-control subsystem, with fixes released since June 2026 and exploit code now public.
