Sony has filed a new lawsuit against Udio over unauthorized use of more than 30,000 songs for AI training, arguing that Udio's licensing deals with other labels prove a market exists for such licenses. The case challenges the fair use defense Udio claims and seeks maximum statutory damages per track.
