SpaceX claims Starlink Mobile will be better than AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon

SpaceX plans to launch its own terrestrial mobile service using spectrum from EchoStar, aiming to compete with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile by combining satellite and small base station coverage. The company expects to start flying next-gen Starlink mobile satellites next year and begin service by the end of that year, targeting better coverage and reliability, including in disaster scenarios.
