The US Army is set to test autonomous Ford F-250 pickups equipped with Forterra's driving software to perform hazardous battlefield tasks like route clearance and breaching. Forterra highlights Ford's widespread parts availability as an advantage for maintenance and repair. The company has also supplied over 100 ruggedized autonomous vehicles to Ukraine and integrates its software into other military systems like the Marine Corps' NMESIS.
