The web is now mostly bots. Cloudflare is rebuilding its defences around that

Cloudflare reports that bots now generate 57% of web traffic and has launched Precursor, a tool that monitors user behavior throughout a session to distinguish humans from bots more effectively. Precursor focuses on behavioral patterns rather than single verification moments and respects user privacy by logging patterns, not content. Additionally, Cloudflare will block certain AI bots by default on ad pages to protect publishers' revenue.
