Walter Torous named executive director of MIT Center for Real Estate

Walter Torous has been appointed executive director of MIT's Center for Real Estate as of July 1, 2026. He will lead the center's academic programs, industry engagement, and strategic direction while continuing to direct the MSRED program. His leadership follows Siqi Zheng's tenure and aims to address evolving challenges in real estate markets.
